Prescott’s Main Recreation Locations

There’s so much to do in Prescott.  The entire area offers recreational opportunities.  From Downtown Prescott’s shopping and dining, to Granite Basin’s hiking, mountain biking, and climbing, there’s never a reason to be bored here.  While the “Circle Trail” rings in the town, there are some specific areas that really offer a lot.  Below we’ll list out the major recreation areas and what you can do in them.

 

  • Goldwater Lake - Prescott City Park

  • Heritage Park / Willow Lake - Prescott City Park

  • Granite Basin - USFS

  • Lynx Lake - USFS

    Another USFS location! Boating, hiking, mountain biking, and historical sites. Also a USFS camping area next to the lake for your camping needs.

  • Watson Lake - Prescott City Park

  • Thumb Butte - USFS
